Drive into the square at St Keverne you may think you have come to a sleepy Cornish rural village, however it is far from that, yes it has its quiet moments but it is the centre of a vibrant community. Farming, fishing and quarrying industries play an important part in the local economy as well as the tourist trade. Being less well known for tourism it makes it just that bit more attractive as you avoid the masses elsewhere.
Lacking supermarkets and fast food outlets that are prolific everywhere, gives St Keverne a charm, this is the reason that St Keverne is such a great place, both to live and visit. If you really miss those things they are available in Helston or one of our other larger towns.
The village its self has two great Pubs a Restaurant as well as a General Store, Butchers, Post office, Newsagent come Hardware store, as well as a Bakery at the top of the village. At the White Hart you can enjoy a selection beers, ales and wines etc. as well as a pub lunch or evening meal. Our accommodation is at the rear of the pub so you can enjoy a quite nights rest after a day exploring the area and
St Keverne is the ideal base from which to explore the Lizard peninsula (Cornwall’s best kept secret).
So please surf our site to find out more about what we at the White Hart and St Keverne have to offer.
